This is me in Kindergarten.
Hello! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year, and am looking forward to a great year!
A little about me: When I was in the 6th grade, my family moved to Cupertino where I attended Kennedy Jr. High, and Monta Vista High School. After High School, I attended De Anza College and then went on to San Jose State University and graduated with my degree in Child Development. I met my husband in Junior High School, and we dated from our sophomore year in high school and all through college, and got married shortly after we graduated from college. We have a son named Jack who went to elementary school at Oster, middle school at Dartmouth, and is currently a Junior at Leigh High School. After getting my degree, I was going to take a year off of school and work before starting in the teaching credential program, but that turned into 20 years working in the corporate world. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher so a couple of years ago, I got the opportunity to go back to school and get my teaching credential, and I feel lucky to be in my fourth year of teaching at Oster.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as my dog Slim. I love being outside, and my favorite places are at the beach or at a lake. I’m a science nerd, and love doing science experiments and learning about how the world works. I'm looking forward to another great year!
